SOURCING CONTROLS

Controls tied to the agreed product.

The review points are selected for the product and documented before production coordination.

Production requirements are documented against the agreed quotation and sample.

A physical sample may be reviewed before bulk approval.

Finished dimensions can be checked against approved specifications.

Towel and textile weight can be reviewed against the agreed product specification.

Stitching, hems, loose threads and visible construction details are reviewed as part of the production process.

Where required and agreed, sample wash evaluation may be used to review shrinkage and appearance.

Packing method, labeling and carton marks are confirmed with the quotation where applicable.

Thread count alone does not establish service life. Fiber blend, yarn, weave, finishing and laundry conditions all affect performance.

U.S. buyers often compare finished size and pounds per dozen. GSM remains a useful secondary construction reference.
